A high ranking delegation including ÖOC President Karl Stoss, general secretary Peter Mennel and EYOF chief executive Philipp Groborsch visited Fischer in the Hofburg Palace, Vienna.

news_Smart Cities and Sport Summit 2014We spent two great days at Olympic Cities’ Smart Cities & Sport Summit in Lausanne late last week.Key learnings:

1. Dr. Andrew Smith from the Uof Westminster stated sport events don’t enhance public sport participation.
2. TAFISA’s Wolfgang Baumann, equipped with data about the global populations critical development regarding state of health underlined how important sport participation is and that it needs to be available for everyone from early age onwards.Bottom line, the need for professional strategic sport concepts for countries, regions and cities is more pressing than ever!
